about me
I grew up in a small town in Upstate New York, a few hours north of New York City. My humble, small-town upbringing had a huge influence in shaping my values, as did my supportive family. They never questioned me when I told them I wanted to be the next Peter Jennings, whose smooth delivery and engaging storytelling captivated me every time I watched the evening news. After high school, I made the short trip to Ithaca College, known for its broadcast journalism program. I was lucky enough to land a great gig right out of college, working for the CBS station in Binghamton. I eventually decided to see more of the country and made stops at TV stations in North Carolina and Ohio before making my transition into marketing and communications. My wife, Chelsea, and I (both proud Ohio State alumni) live in South Carolina with our daughters, Natalie and Isabelle, and pup, Milo. On the weekends you can typically find us exploring new restaurants, parks or finding someplace to cheer on the Buckeyes!
